Alumni Engagement Manager Duties and Responsibilities Manage all alumni engagement campaigns and day-to-day activities including: Develop topical content to attract and involve USNWC alumni and faculty. Create, curate, and manage alumni communications to include mailings, newsletters, alumni portal and social media content (images, video and written). Monitor, listen and respond to alumni in a relatable way while cultivating an affinity for the USNWC. Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for alumni engagement. Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts. Facilitate communities of interest and discussion groups. Design, create and manage featured events, news, and groups. Work within the Alumni Programs team to map out a comprehensive alumni engagement plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics. Be an advocate for USNWC in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate. Qualifications and Experience Possess knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience. Proficient in content based engagement theory and application. Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of higher education and university communication ecosystems, their respective participants and platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.). Possesses excellent writing and language skills and the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format. Maintains a working knowledge of the social marketing and blogging ecosystem relevant to the university environment. Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools and platforms quickly. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Bachelor degree preferred. Education/ Qualification: Bachelors required, MA/MS Preferred. Experience: 15 years military operational/intelligence experience, to include: Information Operations/ cyber, or Warfare qualification/background, organizational management, knowledge of conops, tactics, threat capabilities, targeting, sensor/collection techniques, targeting priorities, operational planning, execution and assessment, and operations analysis. Joint Professional Military Education or experience in joint military operations desired. GENERAL DUTIES OR EXPERIENCE: Program Manager will supervise the overall planning, direction and success of the Undersea Warfighting Development Center’s Tactical Analysis Group (TAG) in Groton, CT. This effort includes the management of systems development, research and technology initiatives; and tactical exercise planning and execution which have great significance to the USN Submarine Warfare Community. The TAG conducts and analyzes tactical development exercises (TACDEVEXs) and test events, translates data and analysis results from these exercise and test events into recommended tactical publication changes and/or new system performance and capability requirements designed to maintain submarine safety, security, and mission effectiveness. Windows Server 2012R2 /2012/2008R2/2008, System Center Operations Manager ( SCOM ), System Center Configuration Manager ( SCCM), System Center Data Protection Manager (SCDPM ). Knowledge of both Windows server/service environments as well as MacOS & Unix/Linux servers in order to operate in a versatile systems administration team. Knowledge of securing operating systems via following STIG, CTO’s and IAVA requirements. Knowledge of Google Apps for Government / Unlimited, Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016 E-Mail messaging systems. Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD Security Clearance.
Provide day-to- day Tier I/Tier II support to 1000 customers for a wide range of IT incidents. Must have experience with Windows networks and be able to communicate effectively with educational environment customers and peers. Needs to be able to lift PCs, printers, and other hardware devices when required. QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years’ experience or equal education. Must possess: 1. CompTIA A+ ce, OR Network+ ce and, 2.
